This vintage yellow star quilt was part of the bed turning at our Ozark Piecemakers Guild 2006 Show. I was surprised when that it looked so much like my Sugar Sack Star.

I was pretty excited about my HM ribbon at the 2006 AQS show. Double Wedding Ring is part of the permanent collection of the MAQS in Padcah and is also included in the Quilt Index
My first book, Little Lone Star Quilts, is now available from C&T Publishing. I developed a revolutionary new fold-and-sew paper piecing method for making Lone Star quilts. No need for fussy measuring, cutting, or sewing on bias edges. Projects range from miniature to full-size quilts.
Look for my Swedish Log Cabin block in Quiltmakers 100 Blocks.

I chose reproduction Turkey reds, double pinks, and black for my Swedish Log Cabin block. It makes an interesting all-over pattern for a quilt-top.
